The Verio Web Hosting Team from NTT Europe Online becomes Verio Europe GmbH

Since 1996, the Germany based Verio team has been focusing exclusively on providing online services to the SME market throughout Europe. From 1 April 2010, Verio Europe GmbH will deliver services from the Shared Hosting, Online Backup and Domains division that were previously taken care of by NTT Europe Online GmbH.

We will now operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Verio Inc. With 250,000 customers in over 200 countries, Verio Inc. is one of the largest web hosting providers for SME-sector companies worldwide. In making these changes, we’re bringing together what belongs together - we’ve been working together with Verio for several years now, and the new Verio Europe GmbH is the perfect addition for Verio Inc.’s growth targets in Europe.

With Verio Europe GmbH, the entire web hosting business for the SME sector (Small and Medium Enterprises) in the EMEA region will remain in the hands of the experienced Verio team. The product and solution portfolio for small and medium-sized businesses will continue to range from domain registration and shared hosting accounts to managed VPS. The newer “Easy Hosting” products complete with shop, reservations and appointment planning solutions, as well as the online backup “SteadyBackup” solution, add the finishing touches to the portfolio.

From 1 April 2010, invoices you receive for the products specified above will be from Verio Europe GmbH instead of from Verio Europe GmbH. This means that you will also only be able to direct payments to Verio Europe GmbH from this date onwards. Please inform your accounts department accordingly! The switch to Verio Europe GmbH means that the only change to the content of your existing contract is that the services will now be provided for you under this new name.
